The federal and state governments will discuss further measures against the corona pandemic on Friday. Several stations broadcast special programs.
High corona numbers – how can Germany protect itself from the Omikron variant of the corona virus? The federal and state governments will discuss further measures against the pandemic on Friday. The stations change their program at short notice and broadcast special programs for this purpose.
From 7:20 pm to 7:40 pm, ZDF will be showing the special “ZDF special”, moderated by Andreas Klinner (52). In the broadcast, the resolutions are classified and discussed with Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (58), among others. Then it goes on with “Betty’s diagnosis”.
Parallel program on ARD and RTL
ARD is also changing its program and broadcasting the special program “ARD extra: The Corona Situation” at 8:15 pm. How severe are the consequences for the economy and critical infrastructure if too many people have to be quarantined? Is a new hard lockdown the only way or are the measures that have been decided on sufficient? When does the general compulsory vaccination come? There will also be a conversation with Health Minister Karl Lauterbach on the program. The film “Speechless in Ireland” will follow at 8:30 pm.
Also at 8:15 p.m. RTL will show the special program “Corona Crisis – Fight against Omikron: This is coming!” News presenter Maik Meuser (46) reports with interviews, analyzes and reactions to the new Corona decisions regarding the Omikron wave. The focus is also on the situation in the intensive care units. This is followed by “The Ultimate Chart Show” 15 minutes late.
