On the advice of the doctors, the Queen should continue to take it easy. The 95-year-old wants to sit at the desk every now and then.

Queen Elizabeth II (95), on the advice of her doctors, will spare herself two more weeks and not travel. The Buckingham Palace announced.

But she will continue to do “light” work at the desk and hold virtual audiences. It is reported to be a precautionary measure. The Queen was in a good mood, it was said from the palace.

Her Majesty regrets that she has had to do without events because of the medical advice, the message continues. “But the Queen’s firm decision remains that she will take part in the National Remembrance Sunday memorial service on Saturday, November 14th.” The United Kingdom annually commemorates the soldiers from Great Britain and the Commonwealth of Nations who fought in the world wars.
