BSW founded: Wagenknecht power factor – politics

A new stage in German party history begins on Saturday in Berlin’s Karl-Marx-Allee. Sahra Wagenknecht, who has long since left her staunchly Marxist early phase behind her and now sees herself as a “left-wing conservative” politician, will officially launch her “Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht” (BSW) there. It is an unusual new stage in many respects, if only because the party is tailored to a charismatic leader in more than just name. There are hardly any role models for this in the party history of the Federal Republic – one would have to look more closely at Sebastian Kurz in Austria or Silvio Berlusconi in Italy.
