Brussels will reauthorize the herbicide for 10 years in the EU after the lack of agreement between the Twenty-Seven

The question was finally settled in advance. Less than ten minutes after the announcement of the failure of the Twenty-Seven to agree on the authorization of glyphosate in Europe, passing the buck to the European Commission, the latter published a press release announcing a renewal for 10 years of the license for the herbicide. Environmental associations have, however, mobilized widely in recent days to convince the various States, highlighting scientific results on the devastating effects of the main component of Round Up on the environment and health.
