Brown signs on the highway: annoying or interesting? – Panorama

Who doesn’t know the brown signs on the motorway that point out regional attractions. Because the costs of the food banks have increased fourteen-fold, some of them are to be dismantled, for example in Straubing. Will anyone miss her?

Who would have thought that there were tigers in Straubing? No, not the Straubing Tigers, an ice hockey team, but real big cats. Aziza and Suna, two female Amur tigers, live in the Straubing zoo. The Lower Bavarian zoo is home to around 200 species from all over the world, from the alpaca to the short-eared proboscis to the Zagros newt. A brown and white sign on the A3 discreetly points to the zoo; it shows a tiger and a toucan.
