The son of David (46) and Victoria Beckham (47) and the daughter of a US billionaire: One of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year is taking place in Florida this weekend. Beckham-Scion Brooklyn (23) gives his fiancée, Nicola Peltz (27), the yes word.
Overall, the pompous celebrations are said to last for three days and have already started on Friday evening (April 8) with a festive dinner at the family estate of the bride’s father Nelson Peltz (79) in Palm Beach. The impressive property right on the sea was equipped with three large marquees for the wedding, as the first photos show, available to the British “Daily Mail”..
Today’s Saturday will be the highlight of the celebrations with the wedding ceremony. According to the Daily Mail, Beckham and Peltz are said to say yes in a traditional Jewish ceremony. On Sunday, the ceremony will come to an end with a lavish lunch.
Three dresses for three days of partying
Nicola Peltz is said to wear a total of three wedding dresses, the main piece being made to measure by Valentino. The bride is said to have met with designer Pierpaolo Piccioli in Rome several times beforehand. She didn’t know what her wedding dress should look like before. Finding out about Valentino was “really incredible” Peltz told CR Fashion Book in November.
While Brooklyn Beckham is said to have chosen his younger brothers Romeo (19) and Cruz (17) as best man, the bride will be accompanied to the altar by her brother Brad (32), her grandmother Bunny (93) and Beckham’s sister Harper (10).
The guest list
According to media reports, the exclusive guest list includes stars like Eva Longoria (47), Serena Williams (40) and Gordon Ramsay ( 55), Gigi Hadid (26), Nicole Richie (40), Elizabeth Hurley (56) and Tom Brady (44) and Gisele Bundchen (41). David and Victoria Beckham’s parents and siblings are also said to be attending.
It was also speculated in advance whether Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40) could be there. Beckham’s godfather, Elton John, 75, will reportedly not be attending as he is currently on tour. Nevertheless, the bridal couple does not have to do without a special musical performance: rapper Snoop Dogg (50) should appear as a DJ at the after party after the wedding.
