A paraglider pilot from the Munich area crashed into a cable car gondola in the Austrian mountains and died. As the Tyrolean police reported, the 65-year-old woman started from the summit of the Hohe Salve near Hopfgarten in Brixental. While paragliding from the approximately 1,800 meter high mountain, she drifted for an unknown reason and got into the area of a gondola lift.
The umbrella lay over the cables of the cable car. The pilot crashed into a gondola and fell into the depths. According to police, the woman from the Munich district was fatally injured. Two passengers in the affected gondola were slightly injured. The broadcaster ORF had previously reported online about the accident.
