Samu and firefighters examine the suffering people on board

A departmental operational center (COD) has been set up to coordinate the various resources involved, all under the authority of Claire Maynadier, sub-prefect of the Châteaulin district. Present on site, Samu and firefighters will examine the suffering people on board the ship to see if an evacuation to the Cavale Blanche hospital in Brest is necessary.

The meals taken by the crew members will also be analyzed in order to identify the source of the intoxication. For its part, Brittany Ferries will set up a relief of the personnel affected to allow the ship to reach its destination as quickly as possible. The latter was to dock in Plymouth (England) this Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
