British Airways cancels 10,300 more flights by end of October

The adjustments already made are not enough. British Airways, which had already reduced its flight program for several months, announces that it will cancel 10,300 additional flights by the end of October. The airline is facing, like the entire sector, a strong recovery in air traffic mixed with a lack of staff.

“The entire aeronautical industry continues to face significant challenges”, justified British Airways in a statement sent to AFP, saying it wanted to give its customers more “certainty” with a flight program less ambitious, after having already announced the day before hundreds of cancellations this summer.
