At the end of March, Netflix’s surprise hit “Bridgerton” will enter the second round with another season. A new trailer reveals that.
Netflix has the first long trailer for the second season of the series hit “Bridgerton”. It shows Viscount Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey, 33) looking for a wife. But not only Lady Whistledown wonders if “this former womanizer is ready for marriage”.
Between two sisters
On his quest, Anthony not only turns his head on Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran, 25), but also on her older sister Kate (Simone Ashley, 26), to whom he develops feelings – which puts him in an awkward position himself. “My honor hangs by a thread that gets thinner with every second I spend near her,” he says, almost in despair. He gets life advice from his sister, Phoebe Dynevor (26) aka Daphne Bridgerton, who played the lead role in the first season.
There is also a new heir to the Featherington house. In addition, the mystery surrounding the identity of Lady Whistledown continues to occupy societies. “The gossip” should be “captured”, as ordered by Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel, 52). The second season of the hit series can be seen on Netflix from March 25th.
