Jean-Paul Boetius has received the long-awaited positive news from his tissue examination. The 28-year-old does not have to undergo chemotherapy after the Hertha player was diagnosed with a testicular tumor eight days ago.
“The investigations have shown that no chemotherapy will be necessary. We are all happy about that, the entire Hertha family is very happy about that. That is very, very gratifying,” said Hertha’s media chief Marcus Jung on Friday at the beginning of the matchday PK before the Duel against Hoffenheim on Sunday (3:30 p.m.)
