Of course everyone now wants to know what Jair Bolsonaro says. The far-right president lost Brazil’s election, 49.1 percent to 50.9 percent, the narrowest result since the country returned to democracy in 1985 and emerged from the dark era of military dictatorship. But while the winner, left-wing former head of state Lula da Silva, is celebrating and making a promise of reconciliation to the torn country, Bolsonaro makes himself scarce.
