A three-year-old had a fatal accident on Sunday evening while driving his grandfather on a tractor. The 65-year-old Brannenburger drove his tractor out of a wooded area over a small bridge to get to the property. According to police, he came off the bridge with the front tire, the tractor fell about a meter and a half and overturned. Both the man and the three grandchildren who drove with him were thrown from the old tractor, which had no cab.
The three-year-old suffered serious injuries in the fall and died at the scene of the accident. The other two children, aged seven and nine, and the 65-year-old were not injured. Police and rescue services were on site with numerous emergency services. The public prosecutor’s office has ordered expert opinions to clarify the course of the accident.
