The municipality of Bramsche near Osnabrück has again been shaken by a violent crime. According to the police, there was a homicide on Sunday night. Just a few days ago, a 16-year-old was fatally injured by a gun.

Bramsche: 19-year-old killed at party

The victim was a 19-year-old woman, police said. She was missing at a celebration in a rifle club in the Pente district around 1.30 a.m. About an hour later, the woman was found seriously injured in a meadow near the celebration. Rescue workers immediately initiated resuscitation measures, but could no longer help her.

With a large police presence and with the support of the Technical Relief Agency, the personal details of all around 150 guests at the celebration were determined, the police said. A large number have already been questioned about the incident. In addition to the homicide in the room, there is also the suspicion of a possible sexual offense, according to the police. A 20-year-old participant in the celebration is currently a suspect. He was provisionally arrested.

Just a few days ago, the community was in the headlines because a 16-year-old was attacked with a gun and fatally injured. An 81-year-old man shot the boy in front of an apartment building directly opposite an elementary school on Tuesday morning. The boy died of his injuries in a hospital on Wednesday evening.
