Late on Thursday evening, the ZDF journalist Maybrit Illner switched to Goslar during the talk show named after her. Former federal minister and SPD chairman Sigmar Gabriel was sitting there, the camera was apparently in a restaurant, and Gabriel only needed one sentence to clarify the fronts. The fronts between those who make politics and know something about it, and those who are supposed to shut up. Sigmar Gabriel said he was glad to have a real military expert (it was a retired brigadier general) in the group. Because: “In the last few days and weeks I have had the impression that the number of self-proclaimed military experts has grown about as quickly as that of hobby virologists before.”
