In the trial surrounding the rape and murder of a ten-year-old girl, a twelve-year-old appears in camera. He testifies there as a witness, but could be both the perpetrator and the victim in the case.
Shortly after 3 p.m. the door to room 0.19 closes. It is day two of the trial at the Hof regional court in the trial surrounding the violent act in a children’s home in Wunsiedel. The twelve-year-old boy is supposed to testify who is said to have strangled a ten-year-old girl with an LED strip after an argument in April 2023. Previously, the boy himself is said to have been the victim of a sexual assault: a then 25-year-old is said to have broken into the St. Josef children’s and youth welfare center, where he used to live, at night and accidentally met the boy, then masturbated in his presence have. According to the public prosecutor’s office, the man then allegedly raped the girl in the presence of the boy and left the home – according to the prosecution, before the boy killed the girl. The public prosecutor’s office said when the charges were filed in September that the adult could not be proven to have been involved in his death.
