Matthias Ginter will leave Borussia Mönchengladbach after this season. A Premier League club is also said to be interested.
With Aston Villa there is apparently another interested party in the race for Matthias Ginter. According to information from sky there should even have been initial talks with the player’s management.
Accordingly, the German national player is high on coach Steven Gerrard’s list. Ginter hasn’t decided yet, especially since Aston Villa isn’t the hottest option for the central defender either. Accordingly, no quick decision is expected.
The 28-year-old officially announced in winter that he would leave Gladbach in the summer. His contract then expires. Other interested parties are said to include Inter Milan, AS Roma and also FC Bayern counting.
Ginter has played in the Gladbach jersey since 2017. In the current season he has made 26 league appearances (one goal).
