There is no excuse to forget a birthday like February 2nd, 2022. But some babies wanted to know exactly, and even chose a schnapps number for the time. Like Ceyda from Fulda and Jonas from Gardelegen.
February 2nd was just a normal Wednesday. One where people loved, laughed and cried, married and died, and of course lots of babies were born. It must have been around 2000, just like every other day of the year. However, this Wednesday was different. Because it was February 2nd, so February 2nd, 2022 – then a schnapps.
On days like this, things might not be the same as usual. For example, people get married significantly more often. Almost twice as often as usual. Even royal couples like such easy-to-remember dates. In Amsterdam, for example, Willem-Alexander and Maxima said yes exactly 20 years ago. Incidentally, researchers warn against such wedding dates: Because marriages that are concluded on a special day have a significantly higher risk of divorce. But good. And then, as I said, there are the very small ones.
There would be about the two Twins Helena and Marlene, who saw the light of day on February 2nd, 2022 in Forchheim, Bavaria. in the Bodenseekreis seven babies were born. But a few newborns were particularly snappy in their timing.

A two more on the birth certificate only has Jonas from Gardelegen in Saxony-Anhalt. Because he was born at 10:22 p.m. and weighed exactly 3220 grams. Welcome!
By the way, February has another Schnapszahl date ready: February 22nd, 2022 – a Tuesday. So parents-to-be, if you keep it up that long, it would be time in less than three weeks. And you deserve a schnapps after the birth anyway. Especially the mothers.
