Boris Pistorius’ predecessor Christine Lambrecht was one of the least popular members of the cabinet. The Germans certify the new man for the Bundeswehr a dream start, at least a lot of them.

The enthusiasm among the supporters of the SPD is particularly great at 67 percent, but Pistorius also finds a lot of approval among the voters of the other traffic light parties (Greens: 55 percent, FDP: 51 percent). 57 percent of the Union voters are also satisfied. Only the AfD voters paint a different picture: Only 28 percent are satisfied, 46 percent are dissatisfied.

Right from the start, the new SPD Defense Minister achieves significantly better values ​​than his predecessor Christine Lambrecht. Almost a year ago, 31 percent were satisfied with it, and the value had then fallen to 22 percent by September.
