Book premiere in Munich: “Gangs of Katzenstadt” – Munich

Anyone who has cats knows that. Anyone who doesn’t has no idea. The divine creatures lead their own lives. And not only that. You run the world. At least the backyards, the streets and rooftops. And who, with Matula the cat’s front paw chopped off, can say for sure that Cat City doesn’t exist? People have withdrawn, the “Gangs of Katzenstadt” are in charge, nonsense, the meowing. But beware, the novel of the same name is by no means a children’s book, here the blood shoots out of the stump in the third line. This novel is a mangy fantasy thriller. The daring adventure was written by SZ editor Michael Bremmer and his girlfriend, Veronika Grüning, who also illustrated the book. Both read from it and tell the story of creation in the “Schwarzer Hahn” in Katzenstadt, sorry, in der Au.

“Gangs of Katzenstadt” (dtv), book premiere, Wed., Aug. 17, 7-8 p.m., followed by a party, Schwarzer Hahn, Ohlmüllerstraße 8, free admission
