The singer of the punk band Feine Sahne Fischfilet, known as “Monchi”, has written a book. It is mainly about its high weight. He himself feels more like a butterfly.

The singer of the punk band Feine Sahne Fischfilet has written a book about his weight problems and how to deal with them.

“First and foremost, I wrote a book about being fat,” the singer, known as “Monchi”, is quoted in an Instagram post from his band on Monday. Two years ago he weighed 182 kilograms and lost 65 kilograms within a year.

The book is about the experiences and setbacks as well as the past, youth and past years of the musician, whose real name is Jan Gorkow. “It is quite simply a book about the question and the answer, about why such a Western Pomeranian Hoschi like me at some point weighed more than his mother and Fatter combined.”

Monchi’s book is entitled “Never fed up … About hunger for life and 182 kilos on the scales” and is due to appear in spring. The publishing house Kiepenheuer & Witsch quotes him with the words: “I weigh 120 kilos and feel like a butterfly.”
