The University of Bonn is taking legal action against the professor for European politics, who wants to take legal action – and says that she has been fired. About the latest escalation of the debate about Ulrike Guérot.

Was on Friday morning on the Twitter feed of Ulrike Guérot, to date head of the professorship for European politics at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, to read succinctly: “The @unibonn gave me notice of termination for plagiarism in a non-scientific book from 2016 on March 31. I will take legal action against it and therefore stand not available for inquiries. I would be the first person to be fired in D for ‘plagiarism’: it’s going to be exciting”. The message was rounded off by a winking smiley.
