They were arrested on Thursday, thanks to the exploitation of CCTV images and fingerprints. One of the two is a 23-year-old homeless man who confessed to the facts, according to the police. He is due to appear on Wednesday before the Béthune court. But the investigation also made it possible to trace certain shops in Lens which had bought back some of the stolen goods.

The story began on the night of December 2 with the intrusion of a man into the stadium, after climbing a fence. The cameras recorded him, in particular, aboard an electric cart skidding on the lawn. A few days later, accompanied by accomplices, he notably stole frying oil and drinks. The catering company, provider of RC Lens, estimates the financial damage at 14,000 euros.
