Shortly before the end of the summer break, Jan Böhmermann and ZDF will receive post. It’s about a show from last year: In October 2022, Böhmermanns ZDF Magazine Royale reports on Arne Schönbohm, the former head of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI for short). The office is responsible for the cyber security of companies and authorities, i.e. Germany’s defense against hackers. Eleven days after the show was broadcast, Arne Schönbohm lost his job. He has had a new job since the beginning of the year: He is President of the Federal Academy for Public Administration, the organization is responsible for the training of federal civil servants. Since then it had become quiet around him. But now Schönbohm is taking legal action against ZDF.
