The first painting that Bob Ross painted in front of the camera in 1983 in the television series “The Joy of Painting” is now being offered by the Modern Artifact gallery in Minneapolis – and the coverage is surprisingly comprehensive: from The Art Newspaper from London and New York to Picture-Newspaper from Berlin. Minneapolis is not exactly a center of the art world, and the so-called gallery is more of a buying and selling facility for everything, listing Bob Ross right under Bob Dylan.
