In contrast to the Mercedes EQS, the BMW i7 sets completely different accents: great performance, ample space, comfortable chassis. But design and operation polarize.
At first glance at the still camouflaged model of the BMW i7, it seems like everything has grown enormously. The headlights blink from deep caves, one floor higher the LED daytime running lights flicker. The BMW kidney had to endure another growth spurt. But later it turns out: In dark colors and with the M-Sport package, the heavy car is quite impressive. Unlike Audi and Mercedes, where the top models roll off the assembly line on an independent electric platform, the Munich-based company remains true to its maxim of openness to technology. The range is rolled out correspondingly wide again this time. The range includes 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, a beefy 4.4-liter V8, two plug-in hybrids and the electric drive in three power levels.
