It may take several months for Apple to launch a headset that combines VR and AR technology after it introduced a version of the device to the board last week, according to a report from Apple. Bloomberg
An unnamed source told the publication that the tech giant Apple has also developed an operating system (called rOS) to use with its mixed reality headset.
The company wants to launch the headset as early as later this year or early next year. and available to consumers in 2023.
This device has a processor. “Equivalent to Apple’s latest Mac” and “Ultra High-Res Display”
Additionally, Apple is working on another product that specifically supports augmented reality, or AR glasses, and is expected to be available later this decade.
