Bitcoin hardware giant Bitmain announced on Tuesday that has reduced the price of the popular S19 Pro miner. This reflects the decline in the cost of Bitcoin miners across the industry.
The company currently sells its miners at $19 per terahash (TH), reflecting the downward trend in ASIC prices, having dropped more than 60% over the past six months. According to Luxor’s Bitcoin Mining Index Dashboard
Lauren Lin, Operations Manager of Luxor’s ASIC Trading Desk, said that the S19 Pro model was trading at $28/TH on the secondary market ahead of Bitmain’s announcement, “when they dropped the price to $19/TH, the price dropped 34/TH. %”

“Bitmain’s price cut for the S19 Pro will lead to a 10% discount across the board for the newer model,” Lin said.
Bitmain also said that customers who purchased the S19 Pro are scheduled for deliveries in the third and fourth quarters of this year. will also be eligible for this discount coupon.
