Anyone interested in Bitcoin can easily think of the Greek mathematician and physicist Archimedes, who famously said: “Give me a fixed point and I will turn the world upside down.” Archimedes used this to illustrate his law of the lever. The sentence also contains the regret that there is no fixed point outside the world with which it could be unhinged.
