Two dead were discovered in Bitburg, Rhineland-Palatinate. Initial investigations indicated a “relationship act”, the authorities said. Further details are not yet known.

After the discovery of two bodies, the criminal police in Bitburg (Rhineland-Palatinate) are investigating. Witnesses reported a lifeless person late on Wednesday evening, the police said on Thursday. On site, the officers found a 50-year-old woman killed next to a car. A dead 65-year-old was then discovered in the adjoining residential property.

Investigators suspect “act of relationship”

The first investigations indicated a “relationship act”, the officials said. Accordingly, there was and is no danger to the population. According to the findings so far, no other person was involved, as a police spokesman said. Further details were not initially known.
