By the end of March, a total of 789 reports of inflammation of the heart muscle (myocarditis) or the pericardium (pericarditis) had been received by the US authorities, especially after the second vaccination with Biontech or Moderna, reports the CDC. 285 of these are verified, the majority of those affected are already on the mend.
