After the violent death of a young woman in Upper Franconia, a 19-year-old is in custody. He is suspected of having killed the 18-year-old, police and prosecutors announced on Saturday.
The man himself called the emergency number on Friday evening, after which several police patrols were dispatched to the crime scene in Bindlach (Bayreuth district). There the officers found the girl and the suspect, a German. The 19-year-old was provisionally arrested. On Saturday, an arrest warrant was issued against him on suspicion of manslaughter. The exact circumstances of the 18-year-old’s death are currently being investigated.
