Binance Partners With Ukrainian Supermarket Chain To Accept Crypto Through Binance Pay Wallet

Binance announceOn Friday it has partnered with Ukrainian supermarket chain VARUS. It said it would enable digital currency payments. For purchases via Binance Pay Wallet

VARUS is the largest grocery chain in Ukraine. It has more than 111 stores in 28 cities in the country. The company says the partnership will provide customers with instant and fast access to digital currency payments in nine cities in Ukraine, namely; Kyiv, Dnipro, Kamianske, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Brovary, Nikopol, Vyshhorod and Pavlograd.

The company also announced a “reward fund promotion” where customers who purchase anything from the VARUS Delivery program worth more than 500 UAH and pay with Binance Pay will receive a reward of 100 UAH.

Earlier at this year’s Kyiv Tech Summit, which took place September 6-9 in Ukraine, Ethereum founder Vitalik said: “Ukraine can be the next Web3 hub.”
