Binance Charity will award over 30,000 Web3 scholarships to students in need in 2023.

Binance Charity – Announced that 30,65 scholarships will be awarded to students looking to build a career in Web3 in 2023.

As part of the Binance Charity Scholar Program (BCSP), free Web3 education and training courses will be offered, which will allow tech-savvy students to sharpen their skills without overcoming unnecessary financial barriers, according to Binance Charity. explainIn a blog post on Jan. 20:

“We recognize that digital education and skill development are beyond our reach. As a result, the blockchain industry lacks diversity and talent, which the Binance Scholar Program will change. It will provide funding for tuition fees at some of the world’s leading universities, colleges and vocational training providers.”

More than 82,000 applicants are currently interested, which equates to an acceptance rate of approximately 37%.

Participating educational partners include the University of Western Australia, University of Nicosia in Cyprus, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany and technology hub Utiva in Nigeria.

The partnership with Women In Tech will seek to train approximately 3,000 women in rural South Africa and Brazil to support future female entrepreneurs.

In 2022 alone, Binance Charity raised over $3.5 million, most of it in the form of Binance USD (BUSD), which helped fund over 290,000 hours of Web3 education and training courses.
