Binance Announces Investment of 3.6 Billion Baht (100 Million Euros) in France

Binance has announced an investment of 100 million euros ($3.6 billion) in France and a partnership with Station F, a startup incubator based in Paris. As the crypto exchange giant expands into Europe

“France has a unique position to lead this industry in Europe,” Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said from the stage at the Paris Blockchain Week Summit on Wednesday, adding that the company already has a team of around 50 people in the country.

“For anyone who wants to understand blockchain and crypto. We hope this will help them enter the world of web3,” said Roxanne Varza, director of Station F.

Zhao said at the opening remarks at the Paris summit that Binance is piloting customer support over the phone, starting with Turkish support. Currently, the company has support via chat only. And hopefully eventually launch customer support by phone in all markets.
