In recent years, the “Fortnite” makers have worked with a number of stars. Now Billie Eilish is also there.

The video game “Fortnite” started its “Fortnite Festival Season 3” on April 23rd. One of the absolute mega stars of the past few years is there: Billie Eilish (22). Both have that the manufacturer Epic Games and the nine-time Grammy winner announced.

“Fortnite Festival” is a rhythm-based game mode. The new season works according to Epic Games until June 13th. Until then, players can unlock content – including jam songs, instruments and outfits – via a so-called “Festival Pass” via a free and premium reward route (cost: 1,800 V-Bucks). Included are the “Lavatronic bass”, the “funeral microphone” and the “sleeper keytar” and as jam songs Eilish’s songs “All The Good Girls Go To Hell”, “Happier Than Ever – Edit” and “Therefore I am”.

From “green-haired Billie” to “bad guy” emotes

The outfits currently available are “Green-haired Billie” and the alternative style “Ultraviolet”. Additional items will also be available in the shop during the current season, including emotes like “bad guy”, another outfit and jam songs from Eilish’s new album. Epic Games points out that only the “Ultraviolet” style is exclusively linked to the “Festival Pass”. The other content could therefore “be offered in the item shop at a later date”.

In a story on Instagram and on platform X Eilish pointed out the collaboration with “Fortnite”. All of this is certainly a good way to promote their new album “Hit Me Hard and Soft” to what is probably a predominantly young target group. Her third studio album is scheduled to be released on May 17th – i.e. during the ongoing “Fortnite Festival Season 3”.

In the second festival season, Lady Gaga (38) was featured, previously The Weeknd (34) was the headliner. Other stars have also celebrated Fortnite appearances, including Ariana Grande (30) and rapper Travis Scott (32).
