After the shooting of his new film “Being Mortal” was halted, Bill Murray has spoken out about allegations against him.

Filming on his new film, Being Mortal, was halted last week following a complaint against Bill Murray. According to multiple media reports, Murray made some female co-stars uncomfortable with being too close. Now the actor himself has commented on the allegations.

“I did something I thought was funny and it wasn’t taken that way,” he told CNBC, revealing he had a “difference” with one woman in particular. “Right now we’re talking and trying to reconcile,” Murray said. “We’re both professionals, we like each other’s work, we like each other I think and if we can’t really get along and trust each other then there’s no point in continuing to work together or doing the film. That was quite a Lesson for me,” he explained.

Although he did not touch anyone in “private places, he put his arm around a woman, touched her hair, pulled her ponytail – but always in a comedic way. It is a fine line and everyone loves Bill. But even if his behavior is not was punishable, some women felt uncomfortable and he crossed a line,” a set employee told Page Six.

Filming suspended

Director, actor and comedian Aziz Ansari’s Being Mortal began filming in March. According to insiders, half of the film, which deals with the topic of end-of-life care, is already in the can. Ansari was the focus of reporting himself in 2018 after a woman accused him of not behaving properly towards her on a date. An article on the internet platform “Babe” about Ansaris and her date caused a controversy. Most of the critics did not see a clear MeToo case in the story.
