Bill Gates visits the Deutsches Museum in Munich – Munich

US billionaire Bill Gates visited the German Museum in Munich. “Gates was very interested in the museum’s new health exhibit and took about an hour to visit,” the museum said on Sunday.

According to the information provided, the 67-year-old was in the city for the Munich Security Conference and during his visit on Saturday he also had Robert Koch show him the incubator with which he discovered the tuberculosis pathogen in 1882. A curator also showed Gates Biontech’s bioreactor, where the company made the first batch of its Covid-19 vaccine.

Gates also looked at the museum’s historic pharmacy.

The general director of the museum, Wolfgang M. Heckl, called it “an honor to have you as a guest here in the museum.” According to the museum, Microsoft founder Gates is said to have said in parting: “I love science museums – and this one is great.”
