A successful US format is coming to Germany: Instead of Jimmy Fallon, Bill and Tom Kaulitz will present the music show “That’s My Jam”.

The brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz (33 each) are already extremely successful with the joint podcast “Kaulitz Hills” – not to mention the joint band Tokio Hotel. The twins’ next joint project will soon be coming up: As has now been announced, the duo will receive the music show “That’s My Jam with Bill & Tom Kaulitz” on the streaming service RTL +.

The format is a German edition of the US ratings hit “That’s My Jam”, which late-night host Jimmy Fallon (48) has been running since November 2021. The show pits stars against each other in teams of two in musical challenges. In the US original, season one included Ariana Grande (29), John Legend (44), Kate Hudson (43) and Blake Shelton (46), to name just a few. Season two has already been decided and will start on March 7th this year.

Kaulitz brothers are on fire

The Kaulitz brothers are overjoyed that they are allowed to moderate the German edition of the moody show: “Finally the successful format from the USA is coming to Germany and only on RTL +. It will be completely absurd,” promises Tom. “The show is fun, wacky and always good for a surprise. Crazy games, wild action and the odd interesting tone – no music show quite like this one,” continues Bill. According to Frauke Neeb, program director of RTL+, the two are the “absolutely desirable hosts”.

It is not yet known which celebrities will compete in the German version. And the planned broadcast date is still in the stars. On the other hand, if you want to be there live in the studio and are at least 18 years old, you can already secure tickets. Six episodes will be recorded between March 24th and 28th of this year, and 15 euros will be charged per ticket.
