Big hassle for more than 500 travelers, stranded for five hours on a night train

A galley night for more than 500 travellers. A night train leaving Briançon (Hautes-Alpes) for Paris was blocked for more than five hours in Côte d’Or, a torn catenary causing major disruptions on the line, we learned Monday from the SNCF .

Passengers will be compensated

Passengers received bottles of water and a meal tray, said the SNCF. Affected travelers may be compensated up to 200% of the ticket price. Traffic returned to normal on Monday afternoon.
