From the police report:Tractor driver crashes into the Loisach

Due to a medical emergency, a 26-year-old from Iffeldorf lost control of his tractor on Sunday morning and crashed the vehicle into the Loisach. As reported by the police, the 26-year-old was on the state road 2063 from Penzberg in the direction of Bichl at around 11:24 a.m. Shortly before the Loisachbrücke he came off the road to the left. An oncoming 35-year-old Benediktbeurer was able to steer his car into the ditch and thus prevent a worse collision. The tractor hit the Benediktbeurer’s car slightly before falling down the embankment to the Loisach. The tractor half sank in the water. The driver was rescued by rescue workers and taken to the Murnau Clinic.
In addition to paramedics and an emergency doctor, the fire brigade and the police, the Penzberg water rescue service was also involved in rescuing the injured person. For the rescue, state road 2063 first had to be closed completely and later halfway.
