BFMTV SURVEY – Macron still in the lead in the first round, Pécresse left behind by Le Pen and Zemmour

Emmanuel Macron, still not an official candidate, quietly continues his race at the top of the polls for the next presidential election. Behind, the three-man race for the second lap seems to turn into a two-man race.

The bad dynamic continues for Valérie Pécresse. The Republican presidential candidate, guest of Facing BFM this Wednesday evening, loses 2.5 points of voting intentions according to our Opinion 2022 poll carried out by Elabe for BFMTV and The Express with our partner SFR and published this Wednesday. It now points to 11.5%.

Far ahead of her, Emmanuel Macron continues to maintain his lead, with 24.5% of voting intentions. Marine Le Pen, second, is progressing strongly since it is now given at 18%, or 3 points more than last week. Éric Zemmour remains at 13.5%.

Le Pen approaches Macron in the second round

Behind this leading quartet, the race is becoming clearer on the left. Jean-Luc Mélenchon continues on its dynamic and progresses by 0.5 point to reach 11% of the voting intentions. He is now only half a point behind Valérie Pécresse and fourth place. Among its competitors, the situation is more difficult. Yannick Jadot remains at 5.5%, Christiane Taubira continues to sink and loses 2 points to point to 2.5%, tied with Anne Hidalgo. Fabien Roussel, in great shape lately, is down to 4%.

In the second round of the presidential election, the gap is reduced in the event of a Macron-Le Pen duel. The outgoing president is thus declared the winner with 55.5% of the vote, a drop of 1.5 points compared to the previous week. Against Éric Zemmour, on the other hand, the gap widens by 2 points since he would win 66% against 34% if the second round took place this Wednesday.
