Beyoncé captured her current “Renaissance” tour in a concert film. “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé” has now celebrated its world premiere.
The gala took place in Los Angeles on Saturday evening, November 25th.World premiere of Beyoncé’s (42) new concert film “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé” took place. Not only did the music superstar himself and his family appear at the event at the Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, but four former members of Beyoncé’s legendary group Destiny’s Child also graced the event – alongside many other stars from the music and show business.
An alien on the silver carpet
For the gala event, the celebrities walked on a silver carpet instead of a red one. Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o (40), musician Lizzo (35), star producer Tyler Perry (54), actresses Janelle Monáe (37), Issa Rae (38) and Halle Bailey (23) as well as Kim Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner (68) – along with many other stars – were present at the event. With Kelly Rowland (42), Michelle Williams (44) and the founding members LaTavia Roberson (42) and LeToya Luckett (42), four ex-members of Destiny’s Child appeared in addition to Beyoncé herself. A person dressed as an alien was also present at the film premiere, as in one from The Hollywood Reporter Video shared on social networks can be seen. Guests were also given the chance to perform in front of Beyoncés take photos of the famous silver horse.
“Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé” opens in cinemas worldwide on December 1st and is, after Taylor Swift’s (33) “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”, the second high-profile concert film by a current superstar that could cause a sensation this year . By the way, Beyoncé herself didn’t walk the silver carpet at her premiere, but she watched the film about her Renaissance World Tour in the cinema along with the rest of the audience.
On what is now her ninth tour, Beyoncé played a total of 56 shows from May to October this year. The tour took place on two continents: Europe and North America.
