But between the Rugby World Cup and the France-Namibia match on Thursday at the Vélodrome, the Mediterranean Meetings opening this Monday, the Pope’s visit on Friday and Saturday, coupled with that of Emmanuel Macron, this week promises to be particularly hectic at Marseilles. “A week from hell”, one could write, with its share of closed roadsprohibited parking, overcrowded bars, security teams on the lookout and amazed tourists.
Enough to seriously consider slipping away to find a bit of calm, and why not, rent your accommodation at a good price along the way, the time to let all this agitation pass.
