Bernd Schreiber hosts a climate change conference – Munich

Bernd Schreiber has not only been President of the Bavarian Palaces and Lakes Administration since 2011 and thus masters over 45 palaces and castles, as well as museums, gardens and lakes in the Free State. He is also the chairman of the Working Group of German Palace Administrations, which was founded immediately after German reunification. As such, he is hosting a conference in Nymphenburg Palace on climate change and its serious effects on the historic gardens in Germany. The kick-off event for the specialist colloquium this Wednesday, May 31, from 5 p.m. in the Orangery Hall is open to the public and admission is free. There will be lectures on the damage caused by climate change in Germany’s historic parks and (from 6 p.m.) a panel discussion with experts from, among others, the Munich Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research, the “Fürst-Pückler-Park Bad Muskau” Foundation and the Prussian Foundation castles and gardens.
