Large-scale police operation in Berlin: an apartment in the Spandau district is to be cleared by a bailiff. The victim then threatens violence. The SEC is approaching.

In the case of a planned eviction of an apartment in The resident of Berlin-Spandau threatened violence, triggering a major police operation. Residents were asked to stay in their homes because of the unclear situation.

According to the police, the background to the operation was the intended evacuation of the man’s apartment by a bailiff at around 9.30 a.m. The victim threatened violence at the door. The police officers present initially withdrew and alerted the forces of a special task force (SEK), the spokeswoman said.

The area around the site was cordoned off until the early afternoon. The police spokeswoman spoke of a “dynamic situation”. The authority asked on Twitter: “Please stay in your apartments & avoid the environment.”
