Berlin: Five arrests after a color attack on the Chancellery – politics

The federal police arrested five suspects on Friday evening after a paint attack on the Federal Chancellery in the Tiergarten district of Berlin. The group is said to have daubed the exterior of the office in two places. Shortly after 6 p.m., the emergency services first noticed four people writing slogans on the wall on Willy-Brandt-Strasse on the south side of the building. The group spread the rest of the wall paint over the wall. A little later another suspect posted a slogan on the north side of the building.

The suspects, a 22-year-old man walking on the north side of the house, two women, ages 22 and 26, and a 21-year-old man, were arrested. The forces confiscated all the evidence they could find on the spot. After the police officers checked the personal details of the two women and the three men, they are now free again. They now have to answer for suspected damage to property at the government building. The investigation is being conducted by the State Security Police at the State Criminal Police Office.
