Scuffles between demonstrators and drivers on Monday on Berlin’s A100 city motorway. Once again, participants in the “Save Food – Save Lives” campaign blocked commuter traffic. With the action they wanted to protest for more climate protection. Some motorists did not want to be stopped by the sit-in and tried to pull the demonstrators off the road. The police calmed the situation and temporarily arrested some demonstrators. In recent weeks, demonstrators have repeatedly blocked traffic on the A100. The actions are controversial. There have already been physical altercations between drivers and protesters.
