A protected area in Berlin-Northeast Bavaria with a receiver from Passau? Of course, if it serves the democratization of the capital, no effort is too great for Bavaria’s Prime Minister.

Shortly before the elections to the Berlin House of Representatives on Sunday, the first governor of the new Bavarian protected area took up his duties. “I can confirm that we are expanding our commitment in Berlin,” Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) wrote on Twitter on Friday. Originally, the state government only wanted to send an election observer mission to the capital. “But the grievances quickly turned out to be so dramatic that we now want to offer the receivership model,” says Söder. He denied reports that the Governing Mayor Franziska Giffey (SPD) had been arrested in the Red City Hall. “An infamous insinuation. But it’s also true that thoughtless statements by the old chaos troupe would not be helpful in this sensitive phase.”
The new governor of the protected area of Berlin-Northeast Bavaria, Andreas Scheuer, announced in a radio speech that he wanted to be “a compulsory administrator close to the citizens for all Berliners”. “The football-playing, serving Senegalese in Neukölln can also feel included.” The rule of law in the election to the House of Representatives will be guaranteed on Sunday by “mobile teams” made up of volunteers from the Junge Union Passau-Stadt, Passau-Land and Deggendorf. “The boys will be on e-scooters all over the city and make their presence felt at the polling stations,” said Scheuer in an interview with RBBNO (Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg-Nordostbayern). In the medium term, his central project as governor will be “responsible budgetary policy”: “No more splurging, every euro counts. It’s your money, dear Berliners.”
Scheuer emphasized that forced administration “should not be a situation forever”: “Yes, self-government is not for everyone. But democracy concerns us all.
