19-year-old dies presumably while surfing the S-Bahn

Was it a dare or was he just looking for adrenaline? That is still unclear. The fact is: S-Bahn surfing is life-threatening and in this case ended fatally.
The federal police found a dead 19-year-old on a train on S-Bahn line 1 in Berlin. A police spokeswoman said today that initial findings indicated that it could have been a so-called S-Bahn surfer. He was probably hit at head height by obstacles while driving.
The federal police warned urgently against holding on to trains and riding in this way. “S-Bahn surfing is life-threatening,” emphasized the spokeswoman. However, it happens again and again, especially among young people, that they still try, for example as a test of courage.
